Tony Frigone
Executiver Director
Tony is a lifelong resident of Ocean County NJ. Tony and his wife Maryann have been married for 28 years, and together raise their 3 children. Tony has been part of the YPDC family for 20 years and counting, and continues to enjoy the captivating summers that YPDC provides to all participants. Tony is the person to contact for all concerns because he is directly involved in EVERY facet of the YPDC Summer camp operation for the Ocean and Monmouth County facility. Tony has 19 years of employment with the Brick Board of Education.
John Jasinski
Director
Brick Township resident for 35 years, Bachelor's degree in physical education, Certified physical education teacher at St. Thomas in Bricktown for 8 years and Jersey City for the past 12 years., Young People's Day Camp director for the past 11 years, Softball and Basketball coach.
Christina Proctor
Director of Special Services
Christina Proctor joins the team as the new Director of Special Services. She holds a Masters in Education and Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification. She joins YPDC with having over 21 years experience working with individuals with special needs. She is currently employed as a Special Education teacher in Jersey City, working with Individuals on the Autism Spectrum. She is a passionate and devoted advocate for those with social, behavioral, emotional, and communication disorders. She is excited to extend her love of children by providing the campers and their families with the communication and support needed to enhance their experiences and guarantee a safe and memorable summer.
Jonathan Frigone
Counselor, EMT, Certified Lifeguard
Ocean County resident for 20 years, Sophmore at TCNJ, High School District wrestling champion & First team All-Shore football player, YPDC Counselor and also EMT and ceritified lifeguard.
Gina Valente
Counselor
Brick Township Resident for 22 years, Brick Township High School graduate, Distinguished Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Ocean County College Student, Counselor for the past 9 years, Brick Township Girl's Field Hockey.
Megan Rykowski
Counselor
Lacey Resident, Lacey Township High School Graduate, Distinguished Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Counselor for 3 years, Attends University of Maryland, Voulenteers for many organizations, Plays College Womens Basketball
Melissa Mann
Senior Counselor
A Brick resident, Melissa is a Fourth grade teacher in Toms River with 5 years camp experience. This is her third year at Young People's Day Camp.
Billy Laffey
Senior Counselor
Also a Brick resident, Billy is a Student at Montclair University studying Physical Education. This is his third year at Young People's Day Camp.
