MEET OUR STAFF
Tony is a lifelong resident of Ocean County NJ. Tony and his wife Maryann have been married for 28 years, and together raise their 3 children. Tony has been part of the YPDC family for 20 years and counting, and continues to enjoy the captivating summers that YPDC provides to all participants. Tony is the person to contact for all concerns because he is directly involved in EVERY facet of the YPDC Summer camp operation for the Ocean and Monmouth County facility. Tony has 19 years of employment with the Brick Board of Education.
Brick Township resident for 35 years, Bachelor's degree in physical education, Certified physical education teacher at St. Thomas in Bricktown for 8 years and Jersey City for the past 12 years., Young People's Day Camp director for the past 11 years, Softball and Basketball coach.
Director of Special Services
Jennifer Santana is the Director of Special Services for YPDC for the past 9 years and she continues to enjoy her summer enhancing the needs of children with disabilities. She is an advocate for all children and works diligently to meet the needs of her young campers. Her continued contact with the campers Case Managers only ensures the campers goals are being implemented to guarantee a fun-filled summer. She comes to YPDC with a degree in Special Education and over 15 years of experience. Jennifer is currently employed at Long Branch Board of Education and extends her year round love of children into the summer at YPDC. She is a devoted mother of one, and enjoys working at YPDC, where all campers are treated with dignity and respect.
Counselor, EMT, Certified Lifeguard
Ocean County resident for 20 years, Sophmore at TCNJ, High School District wrestling champion & First team All-Shore football player, YPDC Counselor and also EMT and ceritified lifeguard.
Brick Township Resident for 22 years, Brick Township High School graduate, Distinguished Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Ocean County College Student, Counselor for the past 9 years, Brick Township Girl's Field Hockey.
Lacey Resident, Lacey Township High School Graduate, Distinguished Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Counselor for 3 years, Attends University of Maryland, Voulenteers for many organizations, Plays College Womens Basketball
A Brick resident, Melissa is a Fourth grade teacher in Toms River with 5 years camp experience. This is her third year at Young People's Day Camp.
Also a Brick resident, Billy is a Student at Montclair University studying Physical Education. This is his third year at Young People's Day Camp.
